Paris Fur Fashion
As Paris Fashion Week kicks off we take a look at some of the collections and pick out a few of our favourites. It seems fur is being used in a variety of ways, adding grace, glamour and fun to a number of garments.
Anne Sofie Madsen
The Anne Sofie Madsen collection portrayed a woman that is streetwise and ladylike, boyish and feminine all at the same time. Stemming from designs that spanned between fanciful fun and a thoughtful intricacy.
Rochas
The Rochas collection put together the strangely appealing combination of sour colours and brights, such as emerald green and red; tea-stained nude, candy pink and digital blue. Bright, but light – that was the key to this collection, and its quality came through with the use of fabrics. Gentle, quirky glamour with a touch of dreaminess was the key for this collection.
Dries Van Noten
The Dries Van Noten collection presented a slouchy, seductive sense to every garment, the big-cat prints on fur coats and stoles created a glamour on the runway. The collection was about mixing it up and being flamboyant and confident.
