Milan Fashion Week Fall 2016
As Milan fashion week kicks off we take a look at some of the collections and pick out a few of our favourites for you to check out and yes designers are using fur!
Designers using Fur in their Collections
Roberto Cavalli
The Roberto Cavalli collection portrayed the 70s style and embraced the ‘’more is more’’ attitude. With what came across as a bohemian and Pagan inspiration the collection was a piece of art. Embellished denim, long scarves and flared trousers dominated the runway.
Alberta Ferretti
The Alberta Ferretti collection opened with slinky satin and lace embroideries, showcasing a languid, pyjama infused compilation. Floral embroidery and touches of fur were a hit in this collection and the relaxed yet sophisticated ambience created by this collection was unmistakable.
Blugirl
The Blugirl collection blissfully played with embroidery and transparency, reinforcing the idea of femininity in a contemporary way. Fur collars, shoes and bags played a big part of the collection and showed a unique point of view on fashion. The collections overall ambiance was one of the romantic and sophisticated woman, bringing with it the message of beauty and lightness.
